I am starting to log all my experience through learning how to compose. The plan is to become a film/game score composer in 2 years.
I willl be logging my wins, failures, compositions, techniques learned from books, notes, recordings, connections, projects basically everything that I can collect here. I hope to come up with a good system that can group and make finding information easier in this space. Initially I will not share it with anyone but as time goes I on I will probably start publishing some of the articles.
The path is to start composing classical imitation music from counterpoint and move closer on the timeline by adding new techniques developed through music history. Currently at the beginning by doing basic ear excercises. It is developing quickly but there is a long way to go. On the side reading counterpoint, thoroughbass accompaniment and improving my progression skills. Enough for now the rest will be captured by individual posts.
